Some sketches for the children's book, Tuck Everlasting. I always loved the story, not the atrocious Disney movie, but the original story. The scene on the pond is so beautifully written and I always wanted to do my own version.

This one is going to be tricky to pull off with all the glow and glassy water reflection...I don't have very solid reference photos either, but I think I'm gonna go for it. Anyway, just a couple rough sketches :)

Well here is a fairly rough lay-in of the values. Just playing around with some of the elements and seeing if there is anywhere else to go with this one. I might leave it or come back to it later....

Here's something I'm working on now. I got a new comfy office chair and it is soooo nice. I feel like I could sit and draw for ever! I've literally left the house like once for an hour the last two days. Without exercise the muscles will atrophy.......It's true.

Also, I registered for Illuxcon. Wooohoooo!!
